The following nominees are presented in first name order.
Beth Kahn
I have been a director at large for the past two years. I am currently the Hospitality Coordinator and am on the Competition Committee. I had the privilege of attending the Leadership Conference sponsored by USA Dance in 2009. I have been ballroom dancing for the last 15 years. I enjoy both competitive and social ballroom dancing.
Linda Keener
I have a love of ballroom dancing spanning 18 years, from Disco to American smooth and rhythm. I enjoy dancing with the great group of dancers there are in Phoenix!
I would like to be on the Board of Phoenix USA Dance to help the organization promote the dancers in the Phoenix area and to come together to have a great dancing experience. I volunteer to help out at the by-monthly dances and at the yearly competition. Phoenix USA Dance promotes dancing whether it be social dancing and competitions along with all aspects of the dance world for dancers of all ages, and I would like to be a part of the Board and this great organization.
Ray Palant
I have been a director-at-large for the Phoenix USADANCE chapter since it's original inception. I am also the dance host coordinator and unofficial chapter photographer.
I have been social dancing for just over 10 years.
Sharilyn Deerman
Beginning in 2004 with the steering committee reactivating Phoenix 4033 to the present, I have served on the Board of Directors. Currently I serve as Treasurer as well as a member of the Outreach and NQE Competition committees. I attended the 2010 USA Dance National Conference and also serve as a National Assistant Area Coordinator in District 6. As a social dancer I enjoy meeting new people and dancing at assorted venues. With varied business experience as an accounting professional, manager, and sole proprietor, I use my skills to actively participate in the leadership of Phoenix 4033. I am committed to the chapter’s continuity and growth.
