Mission Statement:
The Phoenix USA Dance Chapter is dedicated to promoting amateur ballroom dancing and educating the public about the numerous benefits of dance as a lifelong recreational activity, an art form and an Olympic sport. Through our chapter social dances and other programs, we welcome all ages and dance skill levels, encouraging everyone to share the joy and beauty of ballroom dancing - to "dance in harmony."
In January 2006 the Phoenix Chapter became an officially recognized by
USA Dance Chapter after approval from our National organization.
The Board of Directors encourages dancers of any skill level to get involved and help our chapter grow. We invite you to become a committee chairperson, or volunteer for a committee.

Many Hands Make Lite Work
Do you have a few hours each month to invest in your dance community?
With just a little help from everyone, together we can make the
Phoenix USA Dance chapter a successful, dynamic and fun group
of ballroom dancers.
We are looking for volunteers and ask you to get involved.
Our Phoenix Chapter Named Chapter of the Year for
S.W. Region IV of USA Dance:
Board members Felix Ray, Barb Michlin, Sharilyn Deerman
and Priscilla Dean, at the recent Governing Council meeting
held during the S.W. Regional DanceSport Championships in
San Jose, CA.
We were extremely proud to receive a certificate naming Phoenix
as the “Chapter of the Year” from Ann Capella (4th from left),
the newly appointed S. W. Regional Vice President. It was
Ann’s nomination and recommendation that won us this prestigious
award, which was given for our “mercurial rise in membership and
expansion of activities in such a short period of time.”
Needless to say, we are all incredibly honored by this distinction
and recognition of the work that so many wonderful volunteers in
our chapter have given and continue to do so every day.
